Easter Sunday

So yesterday was Easter Sunday. I will not get into the logistics of the terminology "Easter" or any of the history, but I do want to take a minute to address the phenomena of church attendance on Easter and other "religious" holidays. It is amazing how many people come to church on Easter Sunday, Christmas time, etc. but never step foot in a church any other time throughout the year. I am not necessarily criticizing them as much as imploring them to come more often. We love to see the ladies in their frilly hats and the men in the best suit that barely fits because the last time they had it on was a year ago on Easter Sunday, however, we would love to see you more often even if it means you are just wearing a t-shirt and jeans. The important thing is being in church and hearing God's word. I know many are "Christians" and pray, but spend some time with the rest of us. We want to get to know you better.
